130 Street Photographies after the Paris Attacks - 130 photographies de rue, après les attentats de Paris - In Memoriam
The heritage of La Fayette in the United States is alive and well; back in November, we happened on this adorable and kind-hearted poster made by a group of American kids to help support the morale of the French after the Paris Attacks of 11/13. It was tucked away somewhat discreetly on the other side of the public garden in front of the Bataclan...
We took a couple of pics of it and felt particularly glad we had done so two weeks afterwards when we saw the poster was still there but had gotten nearly all washed-out by autumn rains.
Several political and governmental icons are represented under the two national flags: The French rooster; the American eagle; the Eiffel Tower; the Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre; the White House; the Washington Column.
