The new composition signed by perfumer Jacques Huclier for Givaudan offers a Tonka Bean twist on the original blend featuring patchouli, coffee and vanilla. It remains in the family of gourmand orientals.
The principal raw material which makes up the fragrance was reportedly sourced in a sustainable manner from the region of the river Caura in Venezuela where Givaudan have developed a conservation crop program in partnership with the international organization Conservation International.
The eau de toilette rests on a main accord of warm, torrefied Tonka Bean and fresh, aromatic lavender. It is bottled in a redecorated flacon of black lacquer over rubber.
