Escada Fiesta Carioca (2017) {New Perfume}
'But pears and apples, I leave them to the esthete' -- Vinicius de Moraes
Escada Fiesta Carioca Eau de Toilette
Escada have released news of their upcoming annual spring-summer fragrance edition for 2017. It's called Fiesta Carioca, to continue to weave the theme of the Brazilian way of life, with all of its hedonistic connotations...
The limited anniversary edition was developed under new head company Coty. It celebrates 25 years of summer editions.
The woody-fruity-floral opens on top notes of exotic passion fruit, tart raspberry and fresh violet leaf followed by a floral heart of Passion flower, orange blossom and jasmine. The base is a bit darker than what one might expect from a run-of-the-mill and beach-bound Escada summer release, with musk, cedar wood and benzoin.
Estival Escadas are usually sweet lactonic affairs. Maybe with Coty Inc, a twist will be felt, although the imagery is consistent with the branding of this scent series.
