Byredo Rose of No Man's Land La Surprise Rose (2017) {Fragrance News // New Packaging & Kit}

For Valentine's Day 2017, Swedish perfume brand Byredo issued a special collector edition's kit called La Surprise Rose...

It contains a 7.5 ml perfume oil version of a Rose of No Man's Land (2015) together with a small whip, doubling as a leather keychain in French lambskin.

"For Valentine's Day BYREDO launches Rose of No Man's Land in a collector roll-on oil edition, presented in a lacquered pink vial. Rose of No Man's Land is a tribute to the nurses (often referred to by soldiers as "Rose of No-Man's Land") who saved thousands of lives on the front lines of WWI, their story is one of selflessness and compassion."

Ben Gorham, founder and artistic director of Byredo, part since 2013 of Manzanita Capital, said,

"On the occasion of Valentine's Day, we created a surprise to be shared with a person dear to one's heart."

The composition remains the same, with top notes of pink pepper and Turkish rose petals seguing into a heart of raspberry blossom and Turkish rose absolute, while the base rests on papyrus and white amber.

You can buy the kit for 120€, or just the oil for 60€.
