Salvador Dali Sunrise in Cadaquès (2017) {New Perfume}

Salvador Dali will introduce a new fragrance for women from March 2017 entitled Sunrise in Cadaquès, an evocation of the artist's retreat as a primordial source of inspiration for him, choosing to pause on that moment in time when the sky becomes a spectacle of plenitude for the senses ...

Dali once wrote about his painting that,

"In this privileged place, reality and the sublime almost touch. My mystical paradise starts in the plains of the Empordà surrounded by Les Alberes hills and reaches an apex in the bay of Cadaqués. This landscape is a constant source of inspiration for me." (Editor's translation)

The fresh floriental is a composition signed by perfumer Vincent Ricord of Expressions Parfumées.

The eau de toilette opens on top notes which are both agrestic and spicy with bergamot, mandarin, elemi and pink peppercorn. The heart features a solar floral accord resting on iris, jasmine, immortelle and heliotrope. The base is "very warm and sensual" with notes of musk, patchouli, labdanum and Peru basalm.
