Tadashi Shoji Eau de Rose // Oud by Way of Japan (2017) {New Perfume}
Japanese Fashion designer Tadashi Shoji is lauching his debut fragrance called Eau de Rose, which references Japanese gardens and his love of the scent of rose...
"The debut of Eau de Rose, Tadashi Shoji's first fragrance embodies a femininity of the bold and fearless. Rose notes set precedence as the deep exotic aura fuses with the luxurious Oudh oil for a doting finish. Fresh and complex, Eau de Rose is as multi-faceted as the Tadashi Shoji woman."
While you might think that the fragrance is as pale and light as rosewater, given its name, this is not the case as the blend is a full-bodied variation on the classical rose-oudh accord. For the brand, the feel is both "fresh and complex."
The eau de parfum has head notes of Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Grapefuit, Rhubarb, and Blackcurrant seguing into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Osmanthus, Lily of the Vallet, and Cedarwood. The base lists Musks, Frankincense, Pathouli, Rose Absolute, and Oudh.
