Guess has launched a new fragrance for women baptized Guess 1981, which marks a return to the origins of the brand, according to the American fashion label with French roots. 1981 is the year Guess opened its first boutique in America, in Beverly Hills, although the Marciano brothers debuted in the clothing industry in France earlier on with a retail chain called MGA...
Model Emma Stern Nielsen fronts the advertising campaign shot by David Bellemere, wearing a simple white caraco in a luminous Californian setting. The image has a slight vintage vibe to it without ovedoing it.
The fragrance launch itself took place at Château Marmont in March of 2017. Tag line is "The new timeless fragrance for women."
The musky floral blend features sensual and feminine notes while being grounded by woody notes aimed at conveying a modern sense of femininity.
In the top, violet and ambrette seed offers a fresh and musk-like opening while the heart is a mix of sensations with petaly jasmine, juicy pear and sandalwood. The base creates a finish of musk, cedarwood and amber.
Available in 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml edt for 35€, 53,90€ and 73,50€ respectively.
