Cherry blossom has been mostly associated with toiletries and casual scents but such is its popularity today that designer labels such as Van Cleef & Arpels in its non-exclusive range with Féérie Spring Blossom, and now luxury brand Amouage, have turned their sights to bottling the gossamer and subtle springtime floral scent.

The brand turns to a gourmand and lush interpretation. The eau de parfum has top notes of cherry blossom nectar and rose liqueur, with heart notes of ylang ylang, vanilla and an Amaretto accord. The base rests on notes of tonka bean, sandalwood and Cashmeran.

This comes a year after the introduction of Lilac Love.
